It has a 7 cup bowl which is large enough to handle the amounts of food you specified and a 3 cup bowl if there is ever anything you would like to make a small batch of (like the foods that aren't baby's favorite). I have been using it for the same purpose for a while now and am very pleased with the performance I have gotten, especially for the price I paid. It has an easy clean up and the size makes it easy to store as well. I definitely recommend the KitchenAid KFP720. A blender stick actually works very well with small amounts of cooked food; a little chunkier with fruit. Also, unless you have triplets, why would you make such huge quantities of food for an infant? Today's freezers actually don't keep frozen food as well because of auto-defrost, so it is kindof a waste of your time. You'll be throwing out food due to freezer burn. A blender actually works better than a food processor especially with the amounts you are talking about.
